More than half a million people have fled their homes to escape the conflict in Ukraine.
The Disaster Emergency Committee, DEC, is made up of 15 member charities who are experts in humanitarian aid and specialise in different areas of disaster response. They come together to speak in one voice and make fundraising more efficient when they launch an appeal.
4 MILLION people could be displaced due to the conflict in Ukraine
£20 MILLION
The UK Government will match pound-for-pound up to £20 million donated by the public to the Ukraine appeal.
