Liberal Democrat vote share increase in the Police and Crime Commissioner Elections in City of Leicester.

Compared to 2016, the Liberal Democrat share of the vote for the position of Police and Crime Commissioner for Leicestershire and Rutland increased by 3% within the Unitary Authority of Leicester after the first round count after Thursdays poll.
Although unsuccessful in the first round, Dr James Moore polled 5922 votes (9.28%) in the city. The total vote combined with the neighbouring authorities in the first round was 42951, a share of 17.5%.
The Conservatives now hold the position, gaining from Labour.
