Labour votes against an independent review into housing allocations scandal

Nottingham's ruling Labour Group has voted against a Liberal Democrat motion which called for an independent review into the Council's housing allocations scandal.
According to the Audit Commission, the Council's housing service wrongly allocated homes to some staff members, their friends, or relatives between 2003 and 2005.
