Leicester Labour Councillor Suing Labour Party

According to local press, The Labour Councilllor for Fosse Ward is taking legal action against his own party.

The Councillor, was an general election candidate for North West Norfolk who famously called Gordon Brown the "worst prime minister in history" two days before election day. That statement was reported around the world.

It is believed the Councillor hopes to gain £100,000 in compensation, because fellow Labour candidates were not supportive enough of him following his comments.
