Old Invincible Pub Site Update

Thanks to Joan Garrity (photo) and Scott Kennedy Lount, the Old Invincible Pub eyesore will be demolished.

Thanks to a petition raised by Eyres Monsell campaigners Joan Garrity and Scott Kennedy Lount, City Council officers have served a notice on the owners of the Old Invincible Pub site and are now pushing for them to demolish the building.

If the owners fail to comply the City Council will demolish the old pub and charge them.

Scott says "This is all taking a long time, but we will be watching and making sure that the owners comply. Members of the public are only allowed to ask 6 questions each at Council in a year. This is the only way we can get any answers, so we might be asking you to come along and ask some questions too."
