A Message From Troy

Troy Lavers
Lib Dem campaigner and Castle Ward Liberal Democrat Candidate Troy Lavers has sent out a warm thank you message to those who supported her campaign.
Troy said, " It was a tremendous privilege to fight for Castle Ward, for the communities and people that I care about. I want to thank the voters of Castle for their incredibly warm welcome on the doorsteps and a huge thank you to those who supported me throughout the campaign. I also want to take this opportunity to congratulate Mr. Clayton on his election and wish him well."
Troy Lavers was not successful at this election however has been inundated with support from many people who wish to see her succeed in the future.
Cllr. Dale Keeling, the Lib Dem Council Group Whip said, "Troy is a people's person who's support was growing from day to day, it was amazing to see how quickly people warmed to her on the doorstep."
Lib Dem Group Leader Peter Coley said, "Leicester could only benefit from Troy's expertise and I look forward to serving along side her on the Council in the future."
