Candidates Say Thank You

Peter Coley, Leader of the Leicester Liberal Democrat Council Group spoke on behalf of Parmjit Gill and Ali Asghar who all wished to say thank you to all the support they received through out their campaigns in Leicester.
Peter Coley said, "My thanks to everyone who voted Liberal Democrat in the General Election. The end result in Leicester West was positive, we did get an increase of 4.4%, giving us a spring board for the City Council Elections next year, in Leicester South we stayed in second place, once again proving that we are the opposition to Labour in the South of the City."
"We met many interesting people along the way and picked up vast support on the doorstep, once again, my thanks to everyone who supported the Liberal Democrats during this election and If you have been enthused and excited by this election campaign, why not be part of it next time? Please come and join us!"
