Campaigning for Real Change in Leicester

Liberal Democrat MP Simon Hughes visited Eyres Monsell yesterday to lend his support to Parmjit Gill's campaign to become the new Member of Parliament for Leicester South.
Simon came to add his weight to the growing tide of support sweeping the constituency. He with Parmjit chatted to local residents and shopkeepers on the Exchange in Eyres Monsell about their concerns about the area.
Parmjit Gill said, "I am very grateful that Simon could spare the time from his busy schedule to come and add his backing to our campaign in Leicester South. We are gaining momentum every day and it was brilliant to have Simon with us to see the positive reception we are getting from people on the doorstep."
