Councillor Gary Hunt is urging Knighton residents to come along to the next community meeting for the Knighton ward.
Councillor Gary Hunt is urging Knighton residents to come along to the next community meeting for the Knighton ward.
The meeting will take place on Monday 17 August at 6.30pm in the 9th Leicester Scout Hut, Stoughton Road.
From 6.30pm until 7pm;
Residents will be able to meet councillors and council staff dealing with housing benefits and how to apply, how to apply for a home insulation grant and representatives from customer service will be on hand with useful contact numbers. Staff from highways and transport will also be on hand to give a report on issues raised at the previous meeting, there will be a Pennbury Eco Town update, budget and grant applications and representatives from the police.
From 7pm until 8.30pm;
Members of the public will be able to get more involved in developing the Knighton Ward Action Plan and finding out what funding is available for local initiatives and groups in the area.
